LAMB

Order Artiodactyla.  Found extensively in Australia, New Zealand, South America, and the western United States. The length of the head and body averages about 15m with a short tail, and an adult may weight 75-200kg.  Ewes usually product 1 or 2 lambs, although 5 have been recorded.  Tehy are born wooly and open-eyed. Gestation period is about 21 weeks.
