BAMBI / DEER

Family Cervidae. Found through the Americas, europe, Asia and North Africa.  Range in size from the European Elk or Moose, which may reach a shoulder height of 2.35m and South American pudu, which can be as little as 25cm high at the shoulder.  Female gives birth once a year, usually 1-2 fawns.  Gestation period is from 160 days.
